To our valued clients and partners,
RapidDirect would like to inform you of our upcoming temporary closure from April 4th to April 6th, 2024, in observance of the Qing Ming Festival. This period is an essential time for our team members to honor traditions and engage in familial and cultural practices associated with this significant Chinese festival.

About the Qing Ming Festival
The Qing Ming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, falls on the 15th day after the Spring Equinox. It is a deeply rooted observance with over 2,500 years of history, dedicated to ancestral remembrance and the celebration of spring.
Festival Activities Include:
- Tomb-Sweeping and Decorating: A time for families to clean and adorn their ancestors’ gravesites, fostering a connection across generations.
- Offerings to Ancestors: Presenting food, drink, and joss paper as a tribute to the deceased, symbolizing respect and remembrance.
- Kite Flying: A joyful activity where kites, sometimes carrying messages, are flown, merging fun with memories of loved ones.
- Spring Outings: Families take this opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors, embracing the rejuvenation of spring.
- Traditional Foods: The festival is also a time to enjoy seasonal delicacies like qingtuan, a symbol of the season and its flavors.
By observing this closure, RapidDirect demonstrates its respect for cultural traditions and the importance of allowing its team to partake in these significant cultural practices. We are grateful for the understanding and support from our customers and partners during this period.
Operations will resume as normal on April 7, 2024. We encourage our clients to plan accordingly and reach out to us for any urgent requirements ahead of the holiday period.
Warm regards,
The RapidDirect Team
